The email below was sent out by Watson, to all apartment owners, on the 14th May 2025:
"We would like to bring two items to your attention. Please see below
- Weed Spraying – We will be spraying all the paths across all the courtyards this Monday [19th May 2025]. We like to take this opportunity while carrying out this work to invite all of the ground floor apartments that have their own courtyard to be sprayed for a cost of £2, which will be recharged back to your service charge when the works are completed. If you do want your courtyard to be included, please contact Watson. Please state your apartment number so that this can be passed over to the landscapers. We will be using an approved environmental product to carry out the spraying of the weed killer in all courtyards, just so that you are aware of this. We do note that if we do find any apartment/townhouse courtyards to be full of weeds and are a certain height, for the sake of keeping the upkeep of the courtyards, we will carry this work out in the courtyard and the owner of the property will be recharged the landscapers cost to their individual service charge.
- Washing on Balconies – We want to remind everyone that now that we are getting warm weather again, we want to inform you all that it is not permitted to leave your washing on your balconies, as it states in your lease. If we do find any washing on any balconies across Hungate, we will write to you on the matter as it is a breach of the lease.
