The email below was sent out by Watson, to apartment owners, on the 27th July 2026:

"We write regarding the issue of drying laundry on balconies. While we recognise that the warm weather presents an opportunity to utilise outdoor spaces for drying, we would like to remind all residents that hanging washing on balconies or within the small courtyards is not permitted, as outlined in the terms of your lease.

Attached is a copy of the relevant lease clause for your reference.

Should we receive any reports regarding laundry being dried in these areas, we will contact you individually and may need to initiate proceedings for a lease breach.

If your property is sublet and we have your tenants’ details on file they will receive a copy of this email directly, if no details are held, please forward this communication on to them.
